Thursday 22nd

God what a night, am knackered and at shift changeover I was policing the ward with the poor chap next to me trying to feed himself with his hand on dislocated shoulder side – the really old chap trying to escape his bed and the white wine guy sleeping and subdued having been up almost all night.

Great news though – Royal London have picked up my case so once blood thinning meds have arrived (normal practice after a bad fall if not moving around) I will be able to go home.

Em came over early around 1530 then Joe with car at about 1615 to pick me up and we were home by 1800 – what a relief.

My Oūra is saying i have accumulated 7h more of sleep debt since being in hospital! – that place is not good for you.

on my way out in wheelchair

We heated up the dabba and Em made a couple of other dishes for dinner.

Joe and Em headed off and Carla and I settled down to watch Traitors before I retired to my quiet and very comfy bedroom.
