Thursday 1st October
Up early as although I thought I had a completely free day today I actually had back to back calls with Imran and Mike then the gym at 0930 then a nail cleanup at 1130.
Busy morning. Met Carla for lunch at St John – Beef Broth each then a shared almond cake. I popped to Waitrose as Carla needs a hearty meal after vegetables and water at Dan’s for 10 days then popped to Boots to get remaining prescription – my Ramipril 5mg that they didn’t have last week. They still didn’t have them but they do have 2.5mg or 5mg capsules but because my prescription says tablets the doctor needs to approve – how ridiculous … dawned on me though that capsules are probably more expensive hence reason for approval requirement – never mind the medics time wasted on pointless admin shit nor my constant walking back and forth to Boots.
Got back from Boots and prepared dinner – Toad in the Hole – Roast Potatoes – Cauliflower Cheese …
Like many we are excited for celebrity traitors later so after dinner we will be on the sofa watching the goggle box all night.
I did try and persuade Carla to let me book £210 pp Rod Stewart Tickets (his last, last tour) but that was a no.
