Wednesday 30th Sept
So basically rained all night so made dropping tent interesting. Had allowed 90 mins to shower then pack everything up and did it in 75 mins so by 0715 I had already completed 25% of my exercise target according Ōura although also slept quite badly.
Thankfully rain stopped whilst I was packing and I have a nifty wet bag for the tent flysheet and towel – everything will need hanging out when I am home.
Had to cough £40 for excess baggage as bag weighed in at 28kg – all that rainwater. Left on time and was taxxing at LGW at 1020.
Off to see Sting with Emily and Carla in The Lat Ship so looking forward to that.
Made it home by 1130 then went straight in for a much needed haircut. Home
By 1215 and unpacked and found places to hang all the gear so it can dry.
Had a 6” veggie delight on honey oat bread for lunch and a packet of crisps – lovely.
Carla arrived home absolutely buzzing from her trip. We met Emily and eat at Tangra before theatre – fab show actually and one of leads was a woman we had seen in Ballad Lines. Show was ling so home at 1030 and straight to bed.
