Up early and after showering cycled into St Peter Port and had a wander – it was very quiet and there are a fair few shops closed.
I then cycled on to Fermain Bay for my next attempt at some decent photography. Google Maps took me the wrong way so I had to complete the last 200m of my descent down on foot.
I didn’t take any photos on phone so cannot show any just yet.
I walked back up then found my way back down again with the bike and sat at the Beach Café for a ginger beer.
From there my main destination – Moulin Huet Bay – where Renoir painted a fair few pictures.
Had French Onion Soup at the Renoir Tea Room for lunch then clambered down to the bay. Stayed about an hour taking various pictures.
It was only 1330 so I decided to cycle long way home along West Coast via Pleinmont, Verzon Bay – Le Tricoleur shop (to buy a couple of guernsey jumpers) – then back to Cobo for a cheeky pint at the Rockmount. Cycled back to tent for a nap then back to Cobo Bay Hotel and a sunset dinner.
Had an ok steak and chips and another nice Rioja.
Tomorrow is going to be very nice so will cycle back along west Coast and try to take lots of pictures.
