Wednesday 24th Sept
Woke at 7 then listened to Heart Breakfast with a coffee in bed and looked at new on iPhone (via Guardian and Times subscriptions), then showered and at 9 had a call with Mike in a faux attempt to justify the my retainer.
Dentist at 10 re tooth, nice Scandi bloke who says there are four options the best of which is a root canal then a crown so am seeing root canal man on Monday 5th and if they can save tooth that’s left than that will be the route (pun intended) to take.
Was chuffed to see this is opening on Cheapside.
After, I cycled up to Coal drops to by some balls of cotton for Carla’s cottage (crocheting) industry and to look for a laundry basket same as I had bought a month or so back. No luck but was directed to Islington Branch and scored there (woo).
After Islington I cycled almost home but popped into St John for Beef Broth and two cheeky glasses of Red.
Home to more amazon shit for my Guernsey trip – an ND filter and a dew strap for camera (google it). i do have all the gear and (Carla – finish the sentence).
Blobbed on sofa and napped before heading to Keith and Alyson’s for dinner this evening bearing gifts.
Goodness I love retirement – a piece of piss – all this free time – I am loving life.
