Friday 18th September

Woke at 0730 after a lovely long and restful sleep. After getting my nails sorted I jumped on bike and cycled over to Labour and Wait in Marylebone for a browse.

Stopped and had the lunch special at Comptoir Blandford. Lovely.

Guess what I had – lunch special £18.99

Veran – I had a lovely red too.

Cycled home via Labour and Wait in Covent Garden then started to sort Kenya Photos before leaving for the main part of my day – Harlequins versus Edinburgh at the Stoop with the whole squad being blooded. Always great to go back to the Stoop after summer – one of my happiest places (second only to John Lewis, Kingston).

It was a friendly so there were a lot of changes and lots of mistakes but Quins were good for their 33-19 win – was a good pre-season runout so looking forward to the Prem proper staring next week, Friday against the new (cheating bastards) Bath … COME ON YOU QUINS … (coyq).
