Lamu walkabout and chilling

Monday 14th Sept

After Breakfast we were shuttled on a Dhow to Lamu town with Dulla our guide. For a 3h wander.

We had a coffee and a chat at one point and Carla quizzed him on all aspects of his life.

In the afternoon we chilled on the patio with our sea view and read. Carla had a massage at 5 so I had two glasses of red wine in the bar then dinner then another early night.

Wasn’t enamoured with Lamu.

Finished the 3rd of James Wolff’s books now reading ‘the secrets of station x’ – all about Bletchley Park,
