Thanks to Sarah for the title of this one – today we drove from the Mara all the way to Lake Nakaru National Park for a game drive then on to our amazing hotel / camp site at Lake Elementatia.
These land cruisers are utter bone shakers and Sarah said their Botswanan guide called them the African Massage – an apt name. Our Ōura rings think we are exercising vigorously all day.
In Nakuru we saw black and white Rhinos, pelicans, African sea eagles, Flamingos and Rothschild Giraffes.
After Nakuru we drove on to Lake Elementatia and an absolute stunning camp – wished we were staying two nights …
After a lovely a la carte meal (and three glasses of red and two beers for me we went to bed).
Footnote : dammit when we checked out we found no additional bill – drinks all included in our package – if only I had known …
