Wednesday 2nd Sept (the day before Kenya)
Today was mainly chores – had a couple of io calls with Imran then Mike then started cleaning flat – Carla and I split the duties. Finished around 1, she lunched then scooted off to Leicester Square to liquidate a free cinema ticket. I cycled to the Dulux paint centre to buy a pot of sample paint for Carla’s Twickenham flat so we can touch up the walls before she re-lets then I ironed – DULL (not Imran and Mike mind that was interesting and I will eventually get paid for it).
However Sarah passing through London on her way to Cork so I cycled over to Waterloo to meet her and Emily for a drink or two at 5-ish before Sarah headed off to Epsom – NICE.
Then cycle home via the little Waitrose (sag aloo, mango chutney, red wine) to our Aktar at home curry – looks fancy and very meaty and .. they sent an extra dish as was our first order – a lot of food so though expensive (£60 delivered) it looks like it will do at least two substantial dinners – NICE.
