Awoke and pottered, went to Tennis at 10 – Brendon and me vs. Carla and Beverley – well matched but the boys won. Then nail maintenance before another shower then I popped over to io to meet one of the grads over coffee to proffer some advice about a job offer – to take or stay at io.
Home via Daunt books and bought this – still haven’t started reading particularly yet – need to focus on it and get back in to it.
In the evening we went early for fish & chips as we are out at globe tonight for loves labour lost (with flamenco) – set in Navarre hence reason I guess for the Spanish theme.
F&C at Kennedys as always was lovely.
We had standing tickets – standing for three hours is impossible – hurts a lot – so we are employing for first time ever a ruse a mate of ours told us years ago – buy tickets for consecutive days (standing tickets are £8 each) see first half then head home or go to dinner then see second half next day after dinner.
The show was fantastic – funny and the flamenco a great touch – plus there is captioning so easier to follow as Shakespeare can be tricky. Honestly was such fun. We left at half time so back for second half – matinee at around 1530 tomorrow.
Home to episode 3 of Ludwig then Carla hit the sack and I watched the big fat quiz of telly. Harry Hill is hilarious btw.
