Sunday 23rd August
Woke around 8 ish and blobbed about for an hour or two. We both agreed we would have a lazy day today, so, we went for a nice walk – Carla’s favourite – over the Millennium along the south side of river to Tower Bridge then back over North Bank to pick some Rosemary for Sunday lunch from the bushes along the walk way above the moat and then back home via Boots and M&S where we picked up a small piece of topside beef.
Veran mentioned my wine recommendations had lapsed so this is my absolute go to – waitrose £15.99 but often on offer – it’s lovely.
I made a lovely lunch then we watched the Darkest Hour with Gary Oldman – what a film.
