Woke early but dozed until 9 am – lovely.
Showered up then joined Carla for an hour if tennis at 11 am. I feel I was slightly better played some really good and some utterley shite shots, my serve is very poor so need a lot more practice really.
Em and Crumpet came over, Emily working from here today then she and I are off to the Palladium this eveing to see Sam Ryder in Jesus Christ Superstar and Carla is Crumps sitting.
I popped to Waitrose as am making Bosh (vegan) spaghetti Bolognese for dinner before Em and I head out.
Having a lazy afternoon – aping Crumpet by lounging on the sofa.
Well the Bosh Spag. Bol was very nice, I showered up as was very warm and then Em and I Liz lined it to Bond Street and to the Palladium for JCS. Whilst in the bar at the theatre I saw an advert for a short run of the Last Ship by Sting and with him in it – Sept to October so quickly booked three tickets – includes a song about the SS Great Eastern that I love.
The show was fantastic – Sam Ryder was excellent hut all the cast were really … the standout for me was the guy that played Judas – what a voice – and he has quite a few of my favourite songs to sing.
We both loved the show and only 15 mins from home.
Went to bed and then watched three episodes of Ricky Gervais new show on netflix – an animation called Alley Cats – it is hilarious in places – I recommend it although the language is blue – voiced by Ricky Gervais, Diane Morgan and Tom Basenden et al.
