21st July
Slept well – sleep score 98 so dropped a point. sorted some clothes – yes Carla I concede – I have way too many … then after I had ‘three esses’ I took myself off to explore Kentish Town.

I didn’t bump into him but Keir was there yesterday apparently at a pub called the Grafton along with all of his sacked cabinet members.
Anyway wandered south along the main drag which seemed pretty rundown but, interestingly all of the roads off the main road were well healed and had some beautiful looking Edwardian houses – so a deceivingly wealthy place I would say.
After 30 mins or so and 6000 steps I ended up in an old favourite – Coal Drops Yard. Sat outside Barrafina in the sun and supped a small Estrella Galicia.

I wandered around and bought myself a dehydrated meal for my camping trip in August as a ‘dry run’ (pun intended) for future trips.

Reminded me of 70s and Vesta Beef Curry – was lovely.
Stumbled on Everyman on the canal – free apparently, they had spicy Margs so had a cheeky one of those too.

Programme almost finished but seems a fun few hours if weather is nice.

Finished off with a stroll home through Exmouth Market and Waitrose (mussels and sea bass for dinner).
Conclusion : wouldn’t rush back to Kentish Town.
