Day 3 Fredericia

Saturday 11th July

Had pizza last night, a friend of Dan and Emily’s came over, Michael – lovely chap.

Played flip7 and drank too much wine.

Slept in tent – worked out that tent is slightly inclined down towards head end and so propped myself up with an extra pillow and that worked brilliantly – slept through to 8 am then went to loo and spent next 3h in bed – lovely. Set the S30 up and got this great picture.

When I finally got up I played with the image in a freebie astro package and did some processing. Lazy day today for me watching Rugby then late tonight the England game. Lazy day for Carla too who is working her bollocks off in the garden.

Loving bin face especially his plan to conscript anyone using a speaker phone on public transport. My belief in Britain will be restored if bin face wins.

We had a lovely lunch, soft boiled eggs and a toasted roll then I blobbed rest of afternoon whilst Dan, Emily and Carla pottered at their various tasks.

We went to a neighbourhood bar-b-q in the early evening – the Danish way is to bring your own food and cook it – Dan pre-cooked food for a 1000 people so we had way too much. Everyone was lovely as you would expect. We walked along the beach afterwards and watched the sun set – then home to watch the match. Hilariously, a bat got into the house and was quite tricky to get it out – Carla screaming her head off … gave up watching England and went to bed … great result despite the help (maybe) from the wire.

The happy couple
